Privacy Policy

Drift stores your tasks on your device. Voice transcripts are sent to our AI provider only to turn what you said into organized tasks, and are not linked to your identity or used to train models. If you connect Google Calendar, we read your events to display them next to your tasks — we never write to your calendar, and that data never touches our servers. We don't run ads, sell data, or use tracking SDKs.

• Task content: titles, categories, scheduled times, notes — stored locally on-device; no server-side task database.
• Voice transcripts: on-device transcription (Apple Speech Recognition), then text sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to extract structured task info or identify which existing task is referenced. Not linked to any account (no login system), not retained beyond processing, not used for model training.
• Google Calendar data (optional): read-only (calendar.readonly) access to show events on the Plan screen. Fully optional; never creates, edits, or deletes events; events flow directly Google → device, never through our servers; disconnect anytime in Settings to revoke the token.
• Purchase information: subscription status verified via Apple App Store and RevenueCat; we don't collect payment card details.

Location, contacts, photos, browsing history, health data, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, or ad and tracking technology. We do not sell or share data for third-party marketing.

Tasks live on-device and are deleted with the app. There is no server-side profile because there is no account system. Disconnecting Google Calendar deletes the stored access token immediately.

Drift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We will update the “last updated” date if this policy changes materially.
